    Hi all,

I just picked up an old Hohner Alto melodica as my first melodica purchase and I love it. After reading up however, it seems that the way the keys are arranged on this one make it undesirable for most and is considered a beginner’s melodica.

The thing is though that when I try and play piano, it hurts my wrists after a short amount of time. So this little Hohner ALto is perfect in that I can play two handed and with zero wrist problems. I’d like to explore a higher quality melodica at some point, but I am concerned with a traditional piano style key setup and how that might feel on my right wrist specifically.

I don’t really know what my question here is other than if others have similar wrist issues and if they have found any more suitable than others?

    Thanks
