Internal mic for melodica

I’d love a hammond 44hp because of the internal mic, but it’s a bit out of my price range for now. Anyone know what kind of mic is inside and how it’s attached? I’d love to just stick some kind of dynamic capsule and a jack into my suzuki. cheers.
Hello TequilaKez, I have recommended the Myers pick up for a whiles now. it is simple to use and it work well. They have several models to choose from. I like the new feather pickup. It will probably cost you a little more than your Suzuki melodion but it’s the one that I have found works best. I own the Original Hammond 44 and the HP and I actually prefer the sound of the Myers pickup over the actual built-In pick up. But with this statement you need to consider your amplification, as this plays a major role in the sound you actually want to hear. I have written several post on this subject and still seam to find myself changing amplifiers depending on the Melodica I am amplifying and the tone I want to hear.
