Hi
Has anyone in the Forum tried to replace the back panel of the Hammord 44H V2 with a wooden panel? Could the sound be warmer and darker?
Thanks so much for the replies….
I haven’t tried it, but yes, in theory it could be slightly warmer!
Thanks so much..
I actually picked up a V2 recently to try to replace the body. Unfortunately I will not get to it for at least several months after I finish my current projects. I will definitely do it.
Melodica-me
For the moment I bought a Hohner Professional 36 let’s see how it will go later …. in the meantime thank you very much.
How do you like the Hohner pro 36? I am curious just about the sound and quality, and do you have other melodicas to compare it to?
I used the Hohner Piano 36 for some recordings and it was splendid.
The Professional 36 I think is better. I have now taken it to an accordion repairer for a nice general fix. I’ll start playing it next week.
