Hi
I decided to create this topic for helping those who wish to learn how to play and/or to improve their melodica skills.
Since I am personally more into reggae/dub that is the kind of knowledge that I am best «qualified» to share.
But it would be great if more people were able to give their own contribution to this topic, in order to make it more rich, variable and helpful!
As so I will try to post some video lessons and videos where it can been seen, in the detail, people playing the melodica.
And maybe who knows more videos, who might be helpful to improve playing any type of keyboard and/or reed instruments (useful to improve melodica skills); and also who might be helpful for musical post-production, amplification, fx, etc.
And, of course, music in general.
Thank you all!
André
Just found this video from jazzman1945, this is a great video for two reasons.
Frist, it is great because it shows one of the best and most comfortable positions to hold the melodica.
Second reason is to watch a superb playing from jazzman1945.
Enjoy.

A good video about melodica blues and about blending notes.

Several creative techniques!
Andre, that video of Makoto Nomura is wonderful!!! Thank you for sharing it, there are some great ideas there.
Incredible. Linked video of a Thai guy, Tanrong Surashet Phereekhun,
who I see is playing an early 1960s Yamaha (Tokai Gakki) Pianica:
An example of a simple home studio + hohner 36 🙂
