I’ve read that the mouthpiece from some Hohner models will fit a Yamaha Pianica P37D. Does anyone know if that is so for the articulated BlowFlow mouthpiece introduced with Hohner’s Airboard models?

No, it doesn’t fit. I have these two models and tested them right now.

Thank you for testing, André. In what way did they not fit? In your opinion did there seem to be any scope for making modifications so that they would?

The BlowFlow, as the short mouthpiece, has a larger diameter than the mouthpiece inlet on the Yamaha P37D.

You could sand the Hohner mouthpiece, but I tested doing this on another adapted mouthpiece and it didn’t work as it don’t stay fixed because the Yamaha inlet has a certain angle.

You can try another way to do that and if it works, let me know.

    I tried using this: LINK
