Hi Simchaleh,
I wouldn’t just take my word for it! It’s possible the Hohner I got may have been damaged or possibly a dud(it’s the only one I’ve played)?
It is true that it is constructed with an air channel and the air chamber is much larger than the Yamaha.

THanks for the link Oscar. I also have one with the S shaped mouth piece. This is a lovely instrument, and for me, preferable to the later model. I see that the Vibrandoneon has increased in value since it was discontinued!

Hey kevin, how would u compare it with a yamaha pianica 36.
Im looking to buy my first melodica. Im a performing piano and keyboard player, and wouldnlike something different, for partabilitiy and new options for performing.

Ok so it looks like most people are going for the yamaha pianica at this price range.
If i was able to buy a hohner 36 made in germany,at a good price, how does that compare with the yamaha 37 pianica? As far as tone, playability, etc. thnks
