Reply To: Melodica reeds – harmonica or accordion style?

Personally I love the stable sound of the melodicas with accordion reeds, however for economical reasons I also have a melodica with harmonica style reeds. I would like it if manufacturers can also experiment with the body type and sound channeling in the melodica to get a more accordion-like sound out of the instrument. I also do agree that a good player can get quite far even with good harmonica reeds.
