The Bach piece sounded so lovely. There’s no way you can play something like that without circular breathing. Quite a feat. And what a cool-looking melodica.?

Thanks Alan! I’m going to play a few carols in a park tonight. If I get any footage, will share.

I’m not a Facebook fan. This space is so considered, and quietly encouraging.

Hey thanks Melodica-Me, luckily Jeanne can really hold her own and doesn’t get put off if I warble around her. In time, I hope to become polished weaving between her phrasing. This is our first time including melodica. I think she’d like to scat, too. So lots of possibilities there. ?

Hey Hans, you are very kind. But I think this forum is really about how beautiful our MELODICAS are!!
On “Cry Me A River” Jeanne said she didn’t want me to use a drum machine, so that we could be really “rubato” it and draw out that ending. I’m glad you liked it. Thank you 🙂

Hello! The first melodica I ever saw was a little green one similar to this, in New York City in 1980. I’m guessing it’s like your soprano which is coming. An Irish woman was playing fast folk songs on it and that stayed with me until I bought my own first melodica around 2006. Good times coming Hans! Enjoy. Joanna
