Tube hygiene in after-market tubes

have any of you that are regular tube players had trouble with mold bacteria collecting inside the tubes?
I’ve never had a problem with Yamaha or Suzuki and even my old Hohner that I’ve had for 25 or 30 years seems fine after years in the closet.
The replacement tubes I have found online seemed to develop little gray deposits in the folds within a few weeks.
I split one open and it seems the grooves are possibly sharper or deeper in these various brands of tubes(likely all made in the same factory). Thus creating pockets where particles can collect?
