Tip for Marking Melodicas

I have duplicates and triplicates of several melodica models and things were getting out of hand in terms of identifying them. Which of the three Piano 27s is the one that is out of tune? Heck if I know.
So I figured I should mark and catalog them. I tried a white Sharpie Paint/Peinture and it works great as the photos show. Heck, I am finding many uses for it outside of the music room. Lowboy
