Hello everyone,
I have been considering purchasing a melodica for several months now. I saw Jon Batiste playing it on the Late Show and was intrigued as I played various keyboard based instruments growing up (piano, xylophone, marimba, etc.). In the last couple of weeks I decided to finally get one. I was at first leaning towards a Hohner to get started, but after reading your advice in the Buying a Melodica article as well as the posts by Alan on other topics, I decided to go for a Yamaha P32D instead. So, I just wanted to thank you guys for this wonderful site and its extensive advice! My first melodica should get here in a few days and I look forward to learning how to play it! Hopefully, I will have some input to give in the future!
