Hi to you all,
i messed around a little with bendings and finally decided to record a piece and try to bend as much as possible. It sounds like this:
Hope you like it.
(Just for information – that’s what I used: my Vibrandoneon covered with foam, a Rode NT2-A microphone in front – and some Amazon karaoke version of “Summertime”)February 6, 2014 at 5:45 pm #1773Melodica-MeParticipant
Excellent playing Quetscher, great work on the note bending. One of my all time favorite tunes.

Oops, I thought I could just upload a better mix of “Summertime” on soundcloud and it would work well, but I was mistaken. So here’s the new one…February 11, 2014 at 5:51 pm #1795

Nice improvisation, Quetscher — very bluesy.February 12, 2014 at 6:01 am #1800
Thank you, Alan. This is mainly the result of our discussion about bending techniques we has the other day. This was the first time I ever did a tune with bendings, before this it was always playing straight to me, I didn’t even consider the possibilities and beauty of playing like that. So also thanks for the inspiring discussion.
