Setup Microphone for melodica and Stage performing's tricks

Tomorrow night I’ll be perform for my highschool with my band 😀 I’m going to perform on an outdoor stage, so I’d like to ask some tips on setup the microphone. I’ve tried to put the microphone near the edge of the melodica (my melodica is a P-32E) but it’s not work so well. And also any tips to be calm on stage ? I’m an introvert so performing in front of hundreds of peaple is really scary.
