It’s really hard to fins melodica notes so I was wondering if I can just use piano notes… Is it the same thing?
Sorry for being a noob and thanks in advanced…

Hi Will, you can use music for a flute or violin, as they have a similar range to the melodica. The lowest note on the violin is the low G on a 37 note melodica

Hey, I opened my melodica to clean the spit out of it because I played for about 5 hours straight and spit was coming out the sides and the spit valve wasn’t really doing it’s job.
I saw a bunch of videos of people cleaning the instrument, and in the videos they took out the screws and opened up the inside of the melodica to clean. I did the same thing, and now it won’t close completely
Yes, it is the right way, there are just these little divits on the side that are supposed to connect, but aren’t so the side kind of bends outword.
I can post a picture of it if you need. I just want to be able to play my melodica again ASAP. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
