    Hi,

Here is link to an insightful article about Jonathan Batiste’s experience with the Melodica and how he came to record a melodica jazz album.

I have not heard the album yet but will probably purchase it. It was recorded live on New York subways with jazz musicians. It is self-published by Jon I believe.

I just downloaded it from Amazon and am listening. It’s very engaging. You can tell the musicians were having a ball. The tuba works really well with the melodica. I’ll have to check out some of the tuba tracks in Band-in-a-Box. To find the album on Amazon, do a search for “MY NY” under MP3 Music. Thanks for the tip, Lowboy.
