Hi all,
so I had a stroke of luck (at least that’s what I hope for): I found a used Hammond 44 at one hour drive from home and bought it for 250€. It’s in excellent conditions, probably it was never really used, but it has a couple of reeds out of tune by 10 cents, so sooner or later I will have to open it. I already tuned a Hohner student 32 and a cheap chinese one, is there any special advice/caution about the 44?
Also, I have the feeling that it is not a particularly recent instrument, its serial number is 1082: what year would it then have been produced?
