Lowboy
ParticipantHi All,
Before I make too many more posts, I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lowboy and I live in Massachusetts. I have been a performing musician off and on for 45 years. I started on accordion, moved to rock and blues Hammond organ in my teens, and now I am migrating to melodica.
There are many things I like about the melodica, in particular its uniqueness, expressiveness, the role it can play in music, and its light weight!
It seems there are many knowledgeable people on this forum and I look forward to learning a lot and sharing what I might be able to share.
I play blues, R&B, and soul. I enjoy listening to jazz, smooth jazz, chill out, and many other types of music.
Thanks for getting this forum up and running. It will help popularize the melodica for professional use, which I think is an important goal we should all work at.
I look forward to communicating with you.
Regards,
Lowboy

ParticipantWelcome aboard Lowboy!
I think you are going to add some unique perspective to our discussions.
I was especially inspired by you writing:
“…popularize the melodica for professional use, which I think is an important goal we should all work at.”
I agree with you totally.January 18, 2014 at 6:52 pm #1560Alan Brinton
