Let’s just make the deal, Oscar. I tried to send you a message about details via Facebook. Let me know whether you get that.

Daniel, are you out there? If so, have you tried to take your Guerrini apart?

The reason I asked, Dani, is because I have the Pionato (which seems to be the same instrument) and it seems to be glued together so that after I remove the screws it won’t come apart.

Just I tried to take apart and after i remove the screws it wont come apart; it seems that is very well sealed.
I think you have to heat the area of union before opening, but I don’t dare.

Thanks, Dani. That helps a lot. Melodica-Me has made some suggestions, including heating and cooling. I’ll try those things. This one has a note that’s not playing correctly, or else I’d probably leave it together since the tuning is okay.

Quetscher was right. It’s Pianetta, not Pionatto. Now I remember the nightmare of trying to read those script restaurant menus in Italy.

Hello Alan, my favourite restaurant is an italian pizzeria with hand-written menu, so I may be used to reading that?

I posted this a few days ago – strangely enough it didn’t find its way on the main page…
