Articulation on melodica – the most important of its property-if we do not want it to sound like an accordion (what usually happens). So the first thing I throw away corrugated pipe, except for specific situations. The fact that the tap-hole is closely adjacent to the mouth which we speak, is crucial for beginners. Instead of learning to extract sounds , like any other instrument , they learn to speak through the melodica , whence the articulation occurs.
It’s just were lying underfoot -and even the manufacturers it doesn’t seen !
Only someone who has played some wind instrument, can immediately understand where articulation goes – certainly not from the fingers!Keyboardist will be studying for a long time until it will own all the gradations of articulation; beginner melodikist ready for this a priori – and first of all children. In other words – instead of just talking by mouth, do it through the melodica.
This means that need to create for the melodica. a specific language .
