I have been thinking for some time about alternative carrying cases for melodicas. Recently, I saw a miniature golf bag at a thrift store that looked like it would accommodate a Hammond 44 and thought it would make a unique carrier. I didn’t buy it. But today it occurred to me that an arrow quiver might work. They come in different sizes and configurations. Here’s one, though, that’s not really for arrows but might work for a 32 or 36 key melodica:
