Thanks Gianluca, a 36mm x1 50mm piece was a little over $17.00 USD on Ebay. The material is really great to work with, it cuts very easily with no problems. I originally was going to go with Bakelite but it was just to expensive to experiment with. You can acomplish the same with a drill press, sharp flat file, drill bits and a core box router bit and a little patience.
