Thnks troy for the link. However theyre comparing the l37 angel, to the honer 32.

Good to see the experimental spirit! The reeds sound like they’re a bit slow in responding, compared to the organ. I wonder if they could be adjusted? And has he remembered to make a moisture release valve…? 🙂

Thanks for the video Alan – very interesting.
I had a reed fail on a P37D. It suddenly went very flat, and when I went to adjust the tuning with a scraper, it bent very easily, and snapped off. I will try replacing that tongue at some point – I’ll post the results!

Hi Simchaleh
Tonally, the Yamaha P37D is brighter, clearer and louder. The Angel sounds a bit muffled in comparison. They both appear to have been built in a similar way – injection moulded plastic. Just to clear up any confusion, the L-37 does seem to be the same as the Angel Melodyhorn
