That’s some pretty interesting information Melodica-Me. I’m anxious to see your photos.
So, do I understand that the professional was an older model that was replaced by the Piano 36?
Or, were they both available at the same time?
Yes it’s sad to see Hohner’s attitude after being the lead manufacturer for so long.
There is a real gap between the…Read more -

Hello Kevin, yeah I knew it was coming, I was just making a point that its about flash and no concern about creating a new high quality melodica and more concern about creating an App. It’s quite sad. Thank you, Alan. This is mainly the result of our discussion about bending techniques we has the other day. This was the first time I ever did a tune with bendings, before this it was always playing straight to me, I didn’t even consider the possibilities and beauty of playing like that. So also thanks for the inspiring discussion.

but now I’m confused between the Professional 36 and the Piano 36? I was thinking there were two names for the same instrument? -

I just downloaded it from Amazon and am listening. It’s very engaging. You can tell the musicians were having a ball. The tuba works really well with the melodica. I’ll have to check out some of the tuba tracks in Band-in-a-Box. To find the album on Amazon, do a search for “MY NY” under MP3 Music. Thanks for the tip, Lowboy.
